Ryan has some faults but he also has more skills than anyone Tank has faced so far.

Cute boy Ryan might not be about “that street life” like Tank but he has skills inside the ring.
If Ryan will fight TALL he can still be careless with his chin out in the air as I doubt Tank can reach that high.

This will be a 50/50 fight as I strongly feel Tsnk will target that long body with some powerful left hooks.

 

It depends on Garcia's ability to measure distance and offensive skill. Tank is very short. A prime Shane Mosley at 5'9" with a 74 inch reach would end Tank Davis' career.

 

Look at his opposition though usually coming up one or 2 weight classes to fight him at lightweight. He can't do what Mayweather did just hoping his power will always bail him out. At light welter and definitely welter fighters will be able to take his punches much better.

Tank Davis proving once again that he’s a dangerous puncher that can end a fight at anytime. His power is really no joke consider how well García was actually doing before Davis got in with a good punch that changed the fight. Bit of an anticlimactic ending since it looked like it was heating up to be a really good fight but that just shows how potent of a puncher Tank is.

Having said that, that low punch output and relying on his power to bail him out isn’t going to keep saving him. Sooner or later that’s going to work against him much like it did Wilder. I’m really curious if that’s something Ryan García can take full advantage of. The question really is if he’s able to take Tank’s power well or if he’ll be able to avoid them. We’ll have to see.

 

As it should have it wasn't ppv worthy with that said the arena was sold out.
