Smith is tailor made for Eubank and is most likely moving up in weight. What is the purpose of this fight?
I originally thought Smith would win on points when the fight was announced but now I am pretty confident Eubank will win on points. Eubank is the bigger name which will help him and he's much bigger than Smith. Remember Eubank took bombs from George Groves who is won of the hardest hitters in recent times at 168. It depends though if Eubank boxes well, because he was doing some stupid things against Liam Williams and Marcus Morrison since linking up with Roy Jones. Eubank will probably win the early rounds, and Smith will end the fight well to make it like 7-5 / 8 - 4 in favour of Eubank and call it a robbery.
I think Smith's style is easy for Eubank. Eubank struggles against technical fighters. He eats C level come forward fighters alive.
Not sure yet, he would be the underdog understandably but his performance against Jessie Vargas did impress me some bit where he really dig hard & pressed forward.
Bro Vargas is a freaking WW at best lol. Dude is way too small to be fighting Smith. Eubank is a legit 168 pounder.
If they were the same size I would pick Smith to win. But it's a super-welterweight fighting a super-middleweight, Eubank is much bigger and probably stronger. High-profile boxers keep choosing opponents from smaller weight divisions nowadays. It's a disgrace that Eubank is doing this, he should be fighting another super middleweight.
I have had a bet on a draw. Think Eubank will lose early rounds if he tries to box like RJJ. Then he will make some progress in second half of fight when he goes back to brawling
Smith will be competitive, but he's been in way too many tough fights. I don't see him going the distance against CEJ.
Yeah but it was a decent win for him & he worked hard for it, Vargas seemed to always give away & weaken during his fights even at welterweight.
