I think Haney might actually be the best 135 pounder, no doubt about it now

Vasiliy Lomachenko is 2 times Olympic gold medalist and 2 times World gold medalist, so he should be respected.

Haney has 0 (zero) medals, theoretically he's a bum someone picked up from the street.

The Lomachenko vs Salido fight was on par with Mares vs Agbeko 1, with one of the most biased referee displays of the modern era. All you have to do is watch the highlights and see how many times Salido hit him with low blows, and let's not even talk about 12th round when Lomachenko had him on the verge of being stopped, and the referee allowed Salido to hold on like an octopus to survive. And finally what about Salido coming in way above the weight limit ? 21 pounds to be exact weighing in as a Welterweight, and despite all this in only Lomachenko's 2nd professional fight, he still only lost a razor thin decision despite being cheated by the referee and Salido's weight.

Becoming undisputed by beating Kambosos twice isn’t enough to be called the best LW right now until we actually see the fight against Loma who is still one of the best fighters in that weight class. I personally don’t like Haney’s style and think he’s a bit of an eye sore to watch but I acknowledge his skills and talents and respect his willingness to fight anyone.

Loma is the more skillful operator while Haney has youth and size that favors him which is a 50/50 for me.

Lately Haney has looked better than Tank despite him not having any ko wins.

Haney is the legitimate champ but I don't think he's the best. Beating Loma will enhance his standing. I think Shakur Stevenson is the best lightweight & that he'll beat the winner of Haney v Loma.

Tank has the ability to upset the applecart by virtue of his punching power. Let's hope he gets the chance to try. His standing will be enhanced if he can beat Ryan Garcia.

Some great fights to be made in this weight division. The fighters themselves appear willing to make them.

Anyone recall shot much smaller Linares make Haney do the chicken dance? Lopez, is also a weight bully, but he would crack Haney’s paper chin and fold him

Haney has looked excellent, but tbh Tank would brutally ko kambosos.

Hes the king of the lightweights for sure, but Tank is right there at the door knocking. Once Haney beats Loma and Tank knocks out Kingry then Haney has to give Tank his shot.

I think Stevenson is the most complete fighter of the group, aside from Loma who I just don’t know how healthy and/or diminished he may be at this point. At his best I’d favor Loma but not by much, just not sure he’s still at his best.
