I passed out (head on my laptop keyboard for a pillow, knew stretching out and reclining was a mistake ) circa the fourth ...sounds like the fight got a bit entertaining in the middle only to end with some anticlimactic weirdness?

Ryan is good and he’ll give Tank hell early, but I think he’ll break down as the fight goes on.

Overall it was a showcase of predictable outcome, full of mismatches involving all four fighters that never take an actual challenging fight so far into their career & to think this was a PPV, disgraceful.

 

Ellis v Villa was a good watch as was the main event

Naw I don't think so, Karen Chud was a lot better than what I thought, He had great footwork and solid fundamentals and when tagged he showed a solid chin. He seemed to know he couldn't win at some point and I thought concentrated on going the distance with a good defense and just an occasional counter. That guy will make a tough go for anyone

 

I don’t think exposed but brought back down to earth. Dude was clearly gassed up on the hype being given to him. He’s definitely not who people want him to be. I think Vergil beats him at this point.

 

He could. Vergil is the truth, but styles make fights. Can't use Ennis' fight with Chuk as a basis for why Vergil would win. Hard to look good against a fighter who is running the whole fight with slick defense and only throws a couple times a round.

 

We can use the number of times he got hit though. He gets those shots from Vergil, he’s in for a long night.

 

He got hit because he was too anxious to get the KO and was following Chuk around and didn't respect his power. He won't fight Vergil that way. I'm not saying Ennis wins, it's a hard fight to predict, it's a future Spence vs Crawford type fight.

 

You’re missing the point here. In exchanges he was getting hit and some of those shots were sending his head back. Now multiply the power in those shots coming from Ortiz. Ennius isn’t defensive wiz at all.
