Yes, Ortiz feasts on slick fighters. McKinson is as slippery as a greasy eel, and he had his way with him, he'd do the same with Chukhadzhian.

probably. ortiz doesnt wait for openings, he gets to work and creates them. he would throw and throw and hit him wherever he can, till he wears him down and stops him.

Hyper defensive Boots Ennis fanboy alert!

Ortiz and Ennis fight nothing alike so it's silly to be so absolutist, stylistically, Ortiz is all wrong for Karen. Ortiz cuts off the ring effortlessly, and doesn't need to set his feet to throw the perfect shot, moves with his opponents hitting them anywhere he can land. He gets him out of there in 8. Face it, Karen exposed Ennis' limitations, and Vergil does not have those particular limitations.

Yes, Ortiz is much better at cutting off the ring.

Fanboy alert for who? Your sounding like the fanboy here lol. Karen was in survival
You actually responding like an Ortiz fanboy lol. You say Ortiz would stop him, but Ortiz is not better than Boots offensively. karen fought to survive and not get KO'ed. It's always hard to stop someone who fights to survive. Karen like his fellow countrymen Loma and Usyk, have that same slick defensive style and footwork. He did enough to engage to keep Boots off him enough to move once Boots started throwing. It also didn't help Boots for being overanxious to show out for the sold-out crowd and fighting with patients. This fight has helped Boots more than it hurt him. It was good to finally fight a whole 12th round fight to see what it felt like before fighting an elite fighter.

Definitely. Ortiz would go for the kill, and would hve stopped him mid rounds.

No, I'm not responding like an Ortiz fanboy, I'm responding as someone who's seen almost all of their matches. Ortiz is absolutely better than Ennis offensively, certainly better at cutting off the ring and yes, better at fighting guys who fight to survive, just like McKinson, Solomon and Herrera. When he couldn't find openings, he made them, when they didn't want to exchange or engage, he made them. Sure, it's one thing to look dazzling offensively against a guy who's willing to stand in front of you, but something to look dazzling against a guy coming to survive. Thus far both of them have looked dazzling against face first punching bags, but only one of them has looked dazzling against a slick fighter who fought to survive... you know, the one who actually scored the stoppage, and didn't lose several rounds in the process.

I've seen Karen Chukhadzhian several times before, that's not his fighting style, he came up with it on the fly. Sure, he moves quite a bit, bt certainly never busts out those kind of defensive moves against most of his opponents, he stands right in front of most of them. He certainly isn't some Usyk or Lomachenko level talent. Stop flattering him. Ennis had to deal with a guy who made him work, and he looked less than stellar in the process. Will it help him? He never fully decoded Karen in 12 rounds, so I'm no sure it did.

Well, I can respect your opinion. We will soon see who's the better fighter between Boots and Ortiz. They are bound to meet. Especially with Spence soon dropping the belts to stay at 154. That is if Crawford don't agree to fight him after Thurman. Spence has been saying he's only willing to stay at 147 to fight Crawford to become undisputed. IF he can't get that fight, he is moving up to 154 and drop the belts. He's got one foot out the door now. The other foot will follow if no Crawford fight. Let's see if Ortiz can get passed Stanionis first. As long as Ortiz mix it up, he should win. If he decide to just brawl, I favor Stanionis.

    Probably

Doesn't mean he'd definitely beat Ennis. That fight would at least be competitive
