Imagine getting slapped up by a midget and losing so much confidence you have to fight someone you will chin in 1 round.
Id be more surprised if it is not on PPV, Joshua at the end of his career and both Hearn and Dazn will want as much revenue from brand Joshua as possible .
An opponent with a good-looking record but no significant wins for Joshua for his comeback fight after two losses. Not as bad as Fury fighting Chisora - Fury was coming off several big wins and had beaten Chisora twice already. I just hope there is a decent undercard if it is PPV. And I hope we see Joshua-Wilder later this year.
If you like Joshua or not this fight is totally acceptable, this is the type of fight he needs at this point in his career. Joshua has 3 losses in his last 5 fights and is coming off 2 back to back losses. Joshua needs to rebuild and get his confidence back as well as build up a bit of momentum with his career. Joshua and his Management/Promoters are definitely not the first to employ this strategy and will certainly not be the last either .
When Hearn said that it will be top 15 opponent, he meant it will be # 11,12,13,14,15. This guy is #11 in IBF rankings. I was hoping for someone like Kabaeyl or Zhang.
Chisora would beat McKean with ease & Chisora would even give AJ a tough fight lol. The AJ hype train didn't just derail it crashed and burned
AJ will be champion by the end of this year You know why? IBF will strip Fury and Hearn will buy the IBF belt for AJ AGAIN. Fake belts fake champion AJ has never actually beat "the man" He got gifted gold Bought his first IBF belt Beat a beaten Wlad for the vacant belts that still belong to Fury
