His gutless showing in the rematch against a morbidly obese Ruiz was far worse. If ever a statement needed to be made it was in Saudi, blast the blubbery grinning Mexican who lost to Joey twelve Parker right out of there, set the record straight, put a big question mark against the NY quit job at the very least. Instead of putting it to bed though he highlighted it then underlined it, ran scared from a static opponent for twelve rounds, terrified to engage. Pathetic showing. Most overhyped Brit in the last thirty years, a marketing triumph of packaging over content and very little else.
I fully understand that Matchroom wants to give AJ an easy come back fight, but it will require Eddie Hearn in absolute "sales top form" if such a fight is to be sold on DAZN UK PPV. Who wants to pay to see such a missmatch ? Now we find out how skilled a salesman Eddie Hearn is.
Please show some respect to the 4th highest ranked Australian heavyweight. A real 50/50 and I for one can’t wait to pay £27.95 to watch it live (90 second delay) on DAZN.
If you can’t go straight into a fight against a shot to bits Dillian Shyte then you should just donate your gloves to Oxfam.
To paraphrase commentary on a David Price fight - "Oh dear oh dear oh dear". In fact Pricey would be a better opponent than this guy.
Imagine if AJ fought Price. Who would Bellew cheer for? I’d love to see his narrative for this fight.
Bakole is a proper 50/50 test, the other 2 are stale puddings. Bakole will stick it on Joshua and would not be surprised to see the legendary heart, stamina and chin issues coming to the fore. Based on what I have seen in the ring and the CVs of both fighters, if pushed I would lean towards Bakole.
Hearn is a World Class Salesman - he duped plenty of mugs into thinking Joshau was an elite fighter and flogged numerous Box Office fights on that false pretence.
Would love to get Jurgen's thoughts on this fight. But I would imagine he would say the "PPV mugths will lap this up." I'll be watching this at the local boozer, and will be pissing my self laughing when I hear the locals claiming the bodybuilder is back once he knocks down this tin can.
This content is protected Sounds like it’s a done deal. McKean wouldn’t be a bad opponent if Joshua fought in January or February. I guess he needs to a win to regain some confidence first. It’s a shame to see Fury and Joshua taking shitty matchups like this. Hopefully Fury Usyk gets made soon.
Didn't hearnz say that fury vs chisora was a **** matchup? Then he books AJ vs crocodile dundee's ******* child
Something doesn't add up here. McKean makes no sense for a fight in London. It barely made sense if it was staged in Australia, but at least I could understand the gimic of a world tour.
Frankie Warden on Talksport shortly at 7.45 giving an update on Fury v Usyk. I expect him to announce there will be an announcement on the announcement.
