I do see your point on the weight but a 230lb P4P hardest ever puncher would have put away Fury in my opinion
Wake me up when Inoue, Beterbiev or Davis fights anyone 40 pounds heavier than they are, let alone stops them. Pound-for-pound is a fantasy game. But Wilder actually knocks people out, regardless of how big or heavy they are. And everyone he's fought for the last decade was heavier than him. Not the same weight. Not lighter. Not a quarter of a pound heavier. Heavier. And actually being able to do it ... instead of fantasizing if they could do it ... should count for something.
P4P is fantasy. But Wilder is 230lb and 6 foot 7. He couldnt get rid of Fury in 2 fights despite hurting him, and Fury not having the best chin. The hardest puncher ever, in my opinion, would have. I think he is the hardest puncher currently in what is quite a poor HW division. And he hasn't actually knocked out a quality fighter, so its hard to judge how powerful he is.
Wake me up when The Dosser has KO'd a prime fighter who is above C, D or E level. Obviously he hits really hard with all that metal in his right hand but he's fought trash. His CV is full of binmen and big, fat, slow and lumbering lead-footed unskilled D level giant penguin NFL rejects with zero defence
Am i missing something? How the hell is Inoue close to winning the poll when hes not even a bigger puncher than Tank?
I hear you. Pound-for-pound is for people who don't live in the real world, so the guy who actually hits the least hardest of the four has a chance to win something. More hipster nonsense. Not based on reality. Part of the "everyone gets a trophy" mindset, where even if you're the smallest and weakest, you WIN!
Im not drinking the Juice like you thats why. Hes not even the biggest puncher below 140, so how is he almost winning the poll? The hype is getting out of control and youre the main one behind the inoue crayziness..
P4P is a means to measure a fighter's greatness regardless of weight class. The concept isn't nuclear physics. Chisora would KO Inoue, Beterbiev, Spence, Crawford, Clenelo, etc. all on the same night. Is he a better fighter than them?
Realistic would be looking at the facts and stats, bro. OF COURSE Tank and Beterbiev and Wilder hit harder than him. But not P4P wise.
