It's probably another fight where he's a heavy fighter. Big risk, no reward fighting Joyce atm. I'd love to see Joyce-Dubois II soon.

He doesn't shy away from tough challenges so I won't be surprised if he takes a more risky opponent than many others would who are in the mandatory position would, assuming they will be willing to take the fight that is and Big Frank will allow it. Or it might just be a relatively easy touch

Any contender he can get his hands on that's not occupied or soon to be occupied. I'm guessing Fury, Joshua, Usyk, Wilder, and Ruiz are out, so Wallin, Whyte, Sanchez are his best targets. Thinking a little outside the box what about luring Okolie to heavyweight for a fight?

    Fury fighting Usyk

    AJ having a confidence builder

    Wilder fighting Ruiz

If I were Joyce I'd maybe call out Ortiz. He'd be a decent challenge, could outbox him but likely to gas out and get KO'd.

All 3 would get badly KO'd by Joyce.

Plus it's a chance to put down another statement after Ruiz couldn't knock him out.

Yes more than likely but like I said interesting match ups never the less with two of those mentioned never previously being stopped. Certainly Zhang v Joyce being being the favoured match up of the three I mentioned .

All three would do better than your suggestion, Ortiz.

Whyte, Wallin or Hrgovic until the other top dogs are ready. I would froth at the mouth at Joyce vs Wilder, it would be an absolutely brutal fight.

He'll keep being 'developed' towards the big cash-out, the longest, safest brand build ever seen in boxing history.
Then when he fights an accurate KO puncher he'll walk face first into some bombs thinking he's invincible and get KO'd.

Sorry, didn't notice this thread was running in the general forum, started something similar in the British.

Personally, I think he should be calling out Dubois. He already beat him, yes, but since then, Dubois' career path has been given the bigger push from Warren. Dubois already has a secondary title, and he's next in line as WBA mandatory for the winner of Fury v Usyk. In contrast Joyce is at the back of the queue hoping that one of the big names with throw him a bone. Instead, Joyce should be all over social media, making noise, and demanding Warren makes the Dubois rematch. Alternatively, he can give up on fighting for the title and keep wasting his time calling out Joshua for a pay day that is unlikely to come.

Hrgovic won't take Joyce fight. He already is IBF mandatory makes no sense to take risky Joyce fight after what he did to Parker.

Dillian Whyte won't fight Joyce aswell, He will probably looking for a payday (A fight against Joshua) in summer.

Joe Joyce is looking for a fight in March and against a Southpaw. So I guess it's going to be Frank Sanchez

Personally, I'd like it to be Fury's former opponents; Deontay Wilder and Otto Wallin.
First Otto Wallin (let's see how much Wallin is really worth), then the next fight Deontay Wilder. After those fights (depending on the results) we can restart the topic "What's next for Joe Joyce?".
