It's actually the bad scoring of the judges that's opinion.

It's just a faulty, outdated system in which fallible, biased individuals, are in charge of determining a winner

but do they keep track of which blows are scoring and which aren't? They dont have time to keep track and have to keep their eye on the action and because of a faulty system, it is you living a fantasy in which his record is 36 - 3 -1, because there is as yet, nothing better to take its place which is crummy anyways so stop crying about it

I can justifiably back my position because the video which ISNT biased, tracks the number of scoring points which when racked up, is tallied in favor of Hagler, something that is too painful for you to stick around and watch

That's just the way it is! You cant INSIST on the LOSER being the actual winner

when you go along with the decision of Jo Jo Guerra, you open your self to criticism. but when you rely on UNbiased replay, we see the action as it is, not as how we'd like it to be

We use youtube videos to determine who really won sporting events? Seems it might lead to erroneous conclusions, no?

There are four criteria used to determine who won a round in a boxing match - effective aggression, clean punching, defense, and ring generalship. Scoring a round is a lot more involved than adding up punches.

    Nonsense.

There is only one: scoring clean blows

all else , ie; ring generalship, is a sham

You should apply your vast knowledge to becoming a judge or a referee rather than wasting it on us plebes.

I didnt say it, the video proves it and I merely pointed it out

it's stating a basic truth like 2 + 2 = 4, there are only two sexes, and the law of gravity exists

Is it your argument that random youtube videos are dispositve and the end to all debate?

And none of those have any relevance to the decision. Btw the record is still 36-3-1 and Hagler is 62-3-2.

Why would you try to discredit evidence that is displayed because it is aired on Youtube?

Do you you think that making descriptive use of the word "random" helps your case to discredit evidence?

Maybe your eyes can follow the action better than if it were slowed down so everyone can see for themselves??

Your sour grapes attitude doesnt show me anything other than how your bias will try to distort the truth

It's a game of scoring points so why keep pretending?

officially yes, but so was Billy Fox - Lamotta and Ali norton 3, with the official winner winning the bout by staying trapped on the ropes imitating a punching bag.

while official decisions are enough for the ignorant and the causal sports fan, the slowed down video settles the argument, WHO REALLY WON

    You know, for bragging rights

and it is because of the evidence of the video, that any self respecting fan can ignore what the John Thomas's or the Saint Pats of the world (and you) have to say and point out the correct record

    Hagler 63 - 2 - 2 or even 65 - 1 - 1 at best

    while Leonard's record falls to 35 - 5

whatever the case, it still pales next to Mayweather's perfect 50 - 0

    Hoisted on your own petard:

The final CompuBox stats showed Leonard landing 306 of 629 total punches (49%-52 per round) to 291 of 792 (37%-66 per round) for Hagler . Leonard landed 258 of 490 power punches (53%) to 213 of 581 (37%) for Hagler.

I’m of the opinion that Hagler was robbed and so was Hearns in the rematch. Had they been ruled losses for Leonard I don’t know if that makes a big impact on his legacy, but it certainly does more the legacy of Hagler and Hearns.
