    From modern era, Usyk & Loma, their style has everything - offense and defense on the highest level.

    Maybe somebody finds strange but Mike Tyson - he had great defense while going forward, but I suppose that is not the topic..

    Klitschko? While with Steward, he rarely got hit clean.

    MAB, JMM - they were both very technical which includes good offense and defense, not flashy defense as Floyd or Whitaker, but it was not so easy to him them, except when they face somebody on the same level :)

    The thing is, it is rare for a fighter to have flashy defense and good offense, to be remembered by both. Evading a punch with the whole body or with footwork takes more energy than just blocking or parrying a punch. That's why they rely on pot punches, fast one-punch counters and they are less active in the offense.

    Muhammad Ali. KO power, technical ability, great jab, great chin, brilliant head movement, could take a hit well.

    Ali is definitely the best all round boxer ever.

    Julio Caesar Chavez. You dont get to 89 - 0 (?) in 'high punch volume' divisions by getting hit a lot. Eighty nine fights in itself is amazing. That he was undefeated in that time is spectacular. A record PBF is a long way short of, and could never have achieved.

    As a casual boxing viewer, I'd say Wladimir Klitschko.

    A few things against you;

    Era.
    opposition.
    Evidence (film)

    You got a hard case to make.

    However, i think the best can only come from the smaller divisions as the amount of punches they must avoid may be some 5 times more than heavyweights. Not only must they avoid a higher volume, they must throw a higher volume, which also heightens the risk of getting hit.

    The best HAVE to be the smaller fighters.

    The amount of punches is relative to size & power; very often, the HWs can end the fight with one punch or at least turn the tide of a fight - you don't see that as often in the lighter weights, both have their risks.

    Plenty of smaller fighters have 1 punch spark ability.
