    True, but this is the exception not the rule. The HW division has always been known for this quality, people since forever have been saying, posting, writing this phrase "The HW division: Where one punch can end a fight at anytime".

    For a long long long time now, that phrase was always in view of HWs.

    That was Tex claim to fame . He said one day " Did you know I have the best defence in the game today"
    " Its true my face is go ahead beat on me all you want till you get tired then I'l take you out " LOL I wasnt about to argue with him lol

    Carlos Zarate was great at picking off punches with his arms.
    Wilfredo Benitez was fantastic fighting off the ropes.

    A peak Don Curry at welterweight,was exceptional at defense and offense.

    Same with Roberto Duran, I sometimes think his defensive prowess was overlooked, such was his aggressively fearsome style, but he had brilliantly subtle skills at slipping and using angles that occasionally didn't register, seeing as they led to another KO, because that's what you'd remember more.

    Between Crawford and Ennis. Both switch so fluently and they are elite defensively

    Not sure about all time, but my favorite defensive fighter since I started following boxing was Wilfred Benitez.
