I presume Pat McCormack, Callum French and Mark Dickinson would also be on the undercard. Robert Ismay is from Newcastle and would probably be Dacres' 2nd toughest test after Sokolowski. Not bad for a NextGen show, similar to the Chamberlain / Turner / Adeleye NextGen card BT are putting on.
I could understand Nxtgen when Hearn was on Sky. It was a bonus, part of your subscription and a Friday night offering. I don’t understand it on DAZN. Firstly, they were supposed to be showing major events that Sky couldn’t afford. Clearly not this then. Secondly, if it’s the only Matchroom domestic show in March, don’t know if it is or not, it’s basically an £8 PPV headlined by a complete novice. Finally, this is only happening because Our Eddie has had his stable liberated by Boxxer and this is the way to tick off a UK show pretending that Nxtgen has always been a thing on DAZN. Now I might be completely wrong but I don’t think I am !

I don't think this is a regular thing but Matchroom have several top prospects from Newcastle so probably want to put them on the same card to gain interest in them when they eventually step up. March 11 is being planned for Callum Smith in Liverpool. If they do put on the 6 shows I have heard about up to April then it'll be a decent start to the year. I agree with you that we need to see more big events in the UK on DAZN. Hopefully Whyte fights in April / May on regular DAZN against another decent opponent.

I'm definitely part of the problem. Dazn isn't doing great but it's still only 8 quid so I don't think of it much. I wonder what their end price point will be. I think if it hits over a tenner it'll feel more like a cost.
I have no problem with 8.99 being deducted every month from my bank account as I would like to support professional boxing and be able to see Matchroom´s UK Shows. I really fear that boxing will fade into the background on DAZN UK, but let's all keep our fingers crossed that it doesn't happen.

Its since been confirmed. Great matchmaking. Pattinson is a talent but I think hes about 27/28. Why not fast track him. I think this will be his coming out party. No one really knows him but they will soon.
