    It wasn't at all. I say that as a Tank fan. There's no doubt he puts people in seats but there are very few (almost none) PPV attractions.

    What we know is, that fight did 75,000 PPV buys.

    What people don't know is this:-

    (Wilder vs Helenius) The fight generated $1.4 million gate revenue and 6,000 out of 17,000 attendance (Very Very BAD)

    They often have to hand out thousands of comp tickets and lie about PPV sales to pump up the numbers for their ''stars'' over in the US in order to dupe the casuals into believing they're bigger stars than they actually are.

    I could spend the whole day walking the streets over here asking randoms if they'd heard of him and nobody outside of the hard core fans of the sport would have a clue who I was talking about.

    It would be exactly the same in every other country too.

    Hell, even over in the US most people wouldn't know who the hell he was even if you showed them a photo of him. They'd probably think he was a female to male transgender circus dwarf or something.

    We don't have to hand out comp tickets over here for our stars. The fans pack out arenas and stadiums in their droves because we're about that life

    Maybe Tank’s chump fans are finally waking up. Fighting tomato cans and charging PPV for the privilege is a joke. He’s a punk coward who only fights soft touches. Watch how he wiggles off the hook and ducks the Ryan Garcia fight. I don’t expect Tank to follow through with that fight. If he does, look for him to be exposed and show the fans why he’s avoided legit opposition for so long.

    Although the boxing media tries to hype Gervonta Davis, he's very unpopular.

    Choosing opponents from smaller weight divisions and beating up women is not going to help him sell PPVs.

    Imagine how many buys this would have got if the PPV price point was $34.99 instead of $74.99, like it was 15-20 years ago? Every fight isn't PPV worthy tho and especially not Tank vs this Garcia, but I doubt things will change. I expect the Tank-Kingrye PPV to be priced at $89.99 at least.
