Best guess is they are trying to rinse the Saudis for an astronomical sum by hinting it will be in the UK in the Spring.

I always chuckle when people instantly react to that with something along the lines of “yeah, but Joshua is trash, always have been”, trying to act like before their first fight, the #heistoobigtoostrongforUsyk thing that Fury stans parrot nowadays wasn’t all the rage just the same back then.

It’s all hot air how nowadays everybody tries to claim how they knew Joshua would lose and how Joshua had always been this and that and the other. Before the first Usyk fight, everybody and their neighbours kept blabbering about how Usyk would be found out, how this was the big boys league no fit for a bloated CW, how Joshua’s power and combinations would prove too much, yada yada. Even the Ring Magazine pundits were overwhelmingly in the Joshua camp, with 19 out of 22 confidently predicting a Joshua win.

Don’t let anyone fool you with the “Fury is too big” and the “Joshua has always been shite, Usyk beating him means nothing” hogwash. Joshua was supposed to be everything that Fury is supposed to be now against Usyk - too big, too strong, he will lean on him and chase him down and punch him to bits blah blah. It’s all rubbish. It’s funny to read old threads about the Usyk-Joshua bout here or on Reddit or whatever. So many clueless predictions.

Usyk will take Fury down too. Big guys are tailor made for him, he used to eat them for breakfast as an amateur. Anyone who thinks Fury can lean on him should watch the Fa fight - Usyk is a master at dealing with bigger guys trying to lean on him. There’s a reason Fury is all talk but in reality, he ducked Usyk twice last year and still hasn’t signed the contract, even though he received it weeks ago. He is hell-bent on trying to duck Usyk. If any of the middleweight this, midget that talk was true, he would already have fought Usyk last spring or at the very least would have put pen to paper now.

I distinctly remember to an interview John Fury gave some two years ago, just before Usyk stepped up to HW, where he admitted how Usyk was the biggest threat and would be “too tricky to beat”. Others have mentioned this interview too in some other threads so if anyone has a link for it, please share, because I couldn’t find it now.

Let's not forget, Nistor the fidget gave him his stiffest test in the WSB.

Medzhidov dropped him in the WSB, but it was ruled a low blow, although it looked on the beltline to me. And Medzhidov while listed as the same height, looks smaller than Usyk to me.

Do you find this true? If you do your an objective UK poster and not a Fury fanatic.

    Consider these five incidents.

    1. McDermott. Fury deducted a point in the 7th round. The first fight by the way with Fury , McDermott should have won on points! I dare you to watch it and score it.

    2. Cunningham. Fury deducted a point in round five for a head-but. Fury of course was down in this fight.

    3. Johnson. Fury lost a point for hitting on the break in round seven.

    4. Hammer. Fury later suspended for PED's.

    • Fury tested positive for nandrolone after the fight. The result was revealed seven months after the fight and a month after Fury had beaten Wladimir Klitschko.

    5. Klitschko. Fury deducted one point in 11th round for shots behind the head. When he action was heating up!

    6. Wilder 2. Fury deducted one point in round five.

That's five separate points dedications! Most of which happened at critical points in the action , and a PED suspension for steroids. I'd say yes he is dirty in more ways than one.

    Your thoughts are?

Or, would be if true and not a mix of exaggerations, conflations and lies. But they know that. What it is, is bait, that I'm not taking. (why is it even being dangled though? The mods finally gave up playing whack-a-mole with all this person's alts? Join date in 2018?)

I think most sane people could recognize my comment as the good-natured silly jibe it was and not a declaration of war on the poor damsel in distress that is apparently the UK (or even a "crass remark"). :sisi1

"Ooze Shack"? I feel like that butchering of the pronunciation of his rival's name is a billion times more insulting than, uh...rabbit. :dunno

Why must the lineal heavyweight champion of the world have the same cringe, awkward, contrived energy as every high school bully in every goofy 80's comedy? Why is this real life?

I don't like this Fury trash talk. Why not be respectful of the man and his countries war against a much bigger aggressor? He'll get in the ring and give you a lesson imo just like he did Dosh.

He sells the fight best he knows how, Usyk is in on the gag. Whichever way this one goes there will be no Wilder-like beef after this fight, these two will be friendly. And even the Wiilder beef was Wilder's choice.

    "Where are you, belly?" Magic.

I quite enjoyed Fury's Wilder trash as Wilder talked a lot of complete hooey after the second fight but just seems a bit misplaced here but Fury has set his stall out.

There is 0% chance these two don't have a dance or sing off before they fight one another.

Usyk needs to just make sure he doesn't do anything out of character a few little things have come through but nothing that couldn't just be classed as promotion. If he opens a crack Fury will have him.

Exactly. Amazed that people on here, who’ve presumably watched boxing for years, get sucked in every single time.
