He's target practice for any top 20 boxers.

Ngannou is lousy at boxing. Check out his fight with Gane.

He's too slow and mechanical, his style won't transfer well to pro boxing, at least not on a high level.

The f*uckin' UFC beggar aims for the big money right away. It'll be a bit disgraceful for the boxing - he must first do at least 3-4 fights and even then he'll be slow, low gas and limited skills boxer with not a good ring IQ.

Yeah, no. I didn't mind when McGreggor fought Mayweather because Conor was a name which transcended MMA and Mayweather was retired.

The idea of a relatively unknown fighter like Ngannou waltzing to the front of the line and having waste of time money spinner fights with the big names of the division is annoying. If he has to come to boxing he should be fighting semi retired fighters like Pulev or David Price or something.

Oh no he's only got $3,000,000 in the bank. Poor chap.

Let's start a go fund me for him right away.

Ngannou would lose badly. But he'd probably make what he would make in several fights in the UFC and could retire after. I don't blame him.

McGregor was a talented guy who ruined everything he achieved, I mean there was more reasoning in that fight even though it was still a bit of a clown story. Plus, at the time it happened, at leas Connor was already well known for his behavior, even controversial. But to be fair - even that I reason this fight a bit more, it was still some shame for the boxing, just I consider it a better one than a potential Fury vs. Ngannou. Those should be like exhibitions, but not official boxing bouts.

If I'm not mistaken, we see it the same: Ngannou is welcome to boxing, but before pretending for the top, he should go through some C to B-class, so to say, fighters. Just as every other boxer did in his career. If he's so good, this will be respected and he'll move quickly towards the best.

Yes but fought for a promotion who doesn't allow fighters to negotiate own endorsement deals for fights and provides no healthcare for it's fighters while also under paying them. Remember Francis wanted healthcare for all UFC fighters and not just himself.

I am happy to see him walk away even after they were prepared to make him highest paid heavyweight ever.

3 million dollars are for sure a serious amount of money, but how about taxes, money for training (trainers, nutrition, doctors), as he's still willing to be an active fighter? Then add the cost of living. Sure, add some sponsors, but again... Maybe they're not that much especially if he doesn't manage them good. People lost way more for the reasons I mention. Not to mention what about after retiring, the guy has no real profession and I doubt will be a good trainer.

3 million dollars really isn't alot of money, it's what hopeless Dillian Whyte makes for fighting Chisora or less even.

Acctually come to think of it Francis Ngannou could also be a good fight for Anthony Joshua on his comeback trail.

AJ will outbox him, but I can even imagine Ngannou delivering a heavy strike to his head and seeing AJ out - seems pretty possible to me. So I doubt AJ will take such risk ever.

i don't think any way on god's green earth that he gets past a good chisora/parker/white level gatekeeper. he'd imo have to jump straight to the fury fight. it'd have to be a non-title fight, similar to mayweather-mcregor. i suppose both fury and ngannou being lineal HW champions in their own sport would help sell it, despite the result being a foregone conclusion.

Fury should leave this alone. It's an abomination and he doesn't need the money.
The roided ufc creature has the power to end the fight too and even if Fury is the better boxer etc., if he made a mistake he could ruin his entire legacy. Probably wouldn't prepare as well and could be overconfident.
The Stipe fight showed the ufc creature has a good chin and can still hang with a decent boxer. Stipe was one of the better boxers, had some amateur credentials. Landed clean bombs with small gloves and couldn't back him off.
Ufc creature likes to bum rush with his size.
What if Fury tries to be cute and gets clipped in an unorthodox bum rush?
    Dumb fight.

Extremely unlikely given that Ngannou had to panic wrestle against kickboxer Gane who he had no answer to on the feet and the fight is less likely to happen now that he's no longer UFC champion.

Sorry to be pessimistic but to the people that say Francis should go to the back of the line need to remember it’s 2023. In theory he should but I can 99.9% see this fight happening. Fury just put his belt up against a guy he beat up twice already ffs. You think this is beneath him? I certainly do not.
