https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_...oue-stephen-fulton-agree-122-pound-title-bout Its on. Also, Inoue doesn't care where he fights its just that they earn more in* Japan so the opponents choose to fight there. With that, Inoue stops him in the early middle rounds.
The important thing is its happening. Alot of people have been throwing around "Duck" this "Duck" that, "Swerve" "Swove" and whatever else they can think of to discredit Fulton, but they both deserve full credit, Inoue for taking the fight right out the gate with no tuneup, and Fulton for going to Japan for the fight. Its the biggest fight at 122 in years that i can remember and Fulton has a great shot at the upset.
I think it would be in Fultons best interest to use a little movement give angles, use a stiff jab and keep it pumping to disrupt Inoues rythym. Theres going to come a time during the fight where hes going to have to plant his feet and trade, if he takes the punches then cool boy going to win. Fulton is a highly skilled fighter himself so hes not going to get dominated like people are thinking. The biggest question going into the fight though is if Inoue will carry up the power. Im not too sure about it, but we'll see when they finally fight.
Inoue has the best jab in boxing — he pumps it fast and hard. And Inoue is exceptional at countering jabs. Fulton can't get lazy here. Inoue was drained in his last fight making 118. Inoue himself believes that since he won't have to cut as much, he will be bigger, stronger, and faster. Inoue's an elite boxer and he can outbox Fulton if his power isn't having the same devastating effect.
Easier said then done. Timing beats speed, if Fulton can time Inoue coming in and get off some combos then tie up, i see Inoue getting as frustrated as he was against Butler.
Bruh, Inoue has demonstrated elite timing over and over and over and over again. It's one of his greatest attributes. Inoue wasn't frustrated with Butler. Butler wasn't befuddling him. He was just trying to survive and any pro boxer will tell you that it's extremely difficult to KO a guy who's isn't throwing and his only objective is to survive. So he clowned around hoping to get Butler to open up more. He was probably happy getting some rounds after nuking Nonito in 2 rounds. When he had had enough, he turned it up and smoked Butler.
Thats fine and dandy, but ancient Donaire doesnt prepare you for Fulton. Believe whatever it is you wanna believe, but i will be there to tell you "i told you so" when its all said and done. Sig it.
Figueroa and Leo repeatedly tagged Fulton in their fights. He would be in trouble if he fights like that.
Hes the bigger man, hes been in tough with Figs and went toe2toe in a close fight. Inoue is the smaller man moving up, if Inoue has a failure to launch at 122 the excuses will be he was the smaller guy, hes not really a 122 pounder ect. Thats why its not so good to consistantly overhype a person every single day trying to convince everybody hes TBE when its not even sure he will beat Fulton.
Bruh your schtick is getting old already bro. Inoue is not this unbeatable guy like you claim he is. Once Fulton beats him whos going to be the next boxer you blow off the charts?
