Is Tyson Fury still a prime fighter?

How do you assess Fury’s current state

  1. Just entering his prime

  2. In his prime

  3. Past his prime

Like how Ali could take Foreman

Although Usyk is no Foreman and Fury is far better than Ali. Fury will crush Usyk and all will be shocked. "But but he outboxed a bodybuilder who tried to box him!" lol yes exactly.

The third Wilder fight both guys were stumbling around like drunks from the third round on. Wouldn't call that "good shape". If Fury faces a top younger fighter like Jalalov, he is getting dismantled.

Fury is all about what shape he is in and how determined he is for a particular fight. He gets up for fights where he is threatened by the opponent, (Wlad and Wilder 1 and 2).
If he is not up for a fight or should I say underprepared (Wallin and Wilder 3), there will be obstacles to overcome or should I say he will make a meal of it.

If Usyk fight happens he will turn up in shape.....he will have to!

I don't think we have ever seen Fury in his true prime and never will because of those 3 years. On the flip side had those 3 years never happened would he be with sugar Hill and fighting this way?

Another question could also be asked.
Who wins, 27 year old fury or 32 year old fury?

I think he's the new hipsters choices after they finally watched Sanchez fight.

Looks like it. Will be actively rooting against this lad as I always tend to do when people overrate/hype fighters.

The biggest shame is, we never got to see him in what would have been his prime. I think he would have been 10-20% better than he even is (elite) if it was not for the long lay off and abuse his body took after the Klitschko fight.

You can't possibly like Fury then. His whole resume is a forty year old, a shot 37 year old cw, and no decent wins, mid thirties Wilder.

Boxing prime was the nandrolone version versus Chisora 2, Hammer and Klitschko. As a fighter it was the 2.0 Kronk version versus Wilder 2. For all his natural ability, weight and lifestyle is taking its toll. Nandrolone Fury would box Kronk Fury to a comfortable UD.

For me he’s not as good as he was against Klitschko. You can see in his past few fights he moves a lot less and physically can’t do what he done against Klitschko anymore. He has changed his game to utilise his other strengths and still the best heavyweight in the world even though he’s past his prime.
