Ric Glaser is a liar! I don't believe anything this fake mobster wanna be! He could have lied better than this. The real numbers haven't even been realised yet.

Who's shocked? Which how expensive PPVs are now Boxing cards can't be so top heavy especially if the best are not fighting the best.

I hate having to bring up the UFC (Dana is scummy) but they put together cards as in bottom to top will tend to have good fights fans want to see, so people are more willing to spend the money and not feel cheated after.

Glaser is a liar but I should trust what Espinoza says about PPV buys.

    Yawn.

Dan Rafael said it did 200K. But even if true 200K is terrible. If De La Hoya, Tyson, Mayweather, Pacquiao did those numbers it would have been seen as a disaster. I dont know the reason for PPV declining weather its stealing or lack or interest or lack of promotion of these guys on prime time free channels but something is going on. Another reason is alot of these fights are not PPV fights. They are cherry picks. A PPV fight is meant to be a 50/50 fight where either guy can win and most often that has not been the case.

I won't buy a ppv no matter who is fighting. Goes for any sport, not just boxing.

    Typo on my part.

Either way, Tyson, Chavez, Duran, and Hopkins on one card is something most objective fans can stomach paying for. Nowadays, Al Haymon insists that Benavidez vs Plant, with an anemic undercard to boot, is a PPV event.

According to the scene, reports are saying it raked in 200-225k PPV buys which sounds about right. So the rumor of 61k was way off.

Seckbach claims this is the biggest fight of our era and one of the biggest fights in boxing history and that it may break the Floyd vs Pac PPV record.

60 or 200, is not good either way. That’s subpar and the only people trying to make it seem good are Tank/pbc fans who tend to be younger. Sorry guys but 200 is laughable for a ppv “star”.

With the higher pricing points today that is a very respectable PPV.

Man, the comments I’m seeing trying to justify this crap is ridiculous. So many people trying to say 200,000 is good.
