I've probably posted it on this forum years ago, maybe it's been posted by somebody else, but I figure that in the Classic section it might get interesting and fun. So the rules are as follows: Using only your head you need to come up with a connection between any 2 fighters by 'the guy fought the guy fought the guy' chain. As in: Toney ----> Tyson Toney---->Holyfield---->Tyson Other posters must figure the riddle out using just their heads too. I'll start. Any takers on Naseem Hamed---->Nikolai Valuev ?
Value fought Holyfield who fought Toney who fought Jones who fought Tito who fought Oscar who fought Mayweather who fought Corrales who fought Gainer who fought Kelley who fought Hamed.
Ken Buchanan lost to Roberto Duran who lost to Jorge Castro who lost to Roy Jones who beat John Ruiz who beat Evander Holyfield who beat Mike Tyson who beat Trevor Berbick who beat Muhammad Ali Azumah Nelson to Anthony Joshua
You did it I can't operate well below the 60's, I hope somebody does something like Dempsey-Gervonta Davies.
Very good, though I was thinking of a more straightforward way… Ken Buchanan lost to Duran who beat Iran Barklay who lost to Berbick who beat Ali
Azumah Nelson - Pernell Whitaker - Oscar De la Hoya - Bernard Hopkins - Roy Jones Jr. - John Ruiz - Nikolay Valuev - David Haye - Dereck Chisora - Dillian Whyte - Anthony Joshua I did it without boxrec too, proud of myslef - ha. From me: Erik Morales to Larry Holmes.
I forgot that Iran fought Berbick. I’m watching his nephew right now in the Giants-Eagles playoff game BTW.
I got from Napoles to Joe Louis. Got stuck there, lack in historical knowledge from before Joe. Hope someone else figures it out.
Jim Corbett fought Jim Jeffries who fought Jack Johnson who fought Jess Willard who fought Jack Dempsey who fought Jack Sharkey who fought Joe Louis I looked up the rest but I’ll let someone else finish it
John L. Sullivan Jim Corbett Bob Fitzsimmons/Jim Jeffries Jack Johnson Brad Simmons Ham Pounder Archie Moore Bobo Olson Don Fullmer Emile Griffith Jose Napoles
