was not an early stoppage. He was not fighting back. Had no leg at all. Even when ref waved it off he had no clue fight was over.

 

abysmal result against such a small, old, unexceptional fighter. sure it came out of nowhere, Smith wasn't controlling the fight at any point, but it really doesn't look great.

to be fair to Eubank he has done pretty well considering we always knew his ceiling wasn't really at world championship level.

 

This is what happens when you bring in a trainer who trains you to fight "his" way. And "his" was wasn't proper for Eubank Jr. Eubank never was a flashy, keep the lead hand low, pop shot kinda guy in the past. He was aggressive. IMO, Roy just ruined Chris with his camp leading up to tonight

 

Eubank rematch clause. Do it.

 

Seems like all the pre-fight talk really fired Smith up, he was zoned in from the get go and was walking Eubank down.
The way he put those punches together for the first knockdown was beautiful too
