Yes I am, called it wrong which happens in sport. I don’t actively support any person or team in support outside my football team and don’t bet now so why wouldn’t I be ok? “Hun” is a bit zesty though lad.
Genuinely not a “fan” of any boxer. I like certain boxers like most people here but wouldn’t class myself as a fan. Also pleased for Smith as he was robbed against Kurbanov. So long as I’m not betting and so long as there is no robbery from the judges or foul play, genuinely am not fussed about any fight outcome these days.
I’ll admit I wanted Eubank to win. That being said, it was a great finish by Liam. Lovely combo with the uppercut and left hand. Smith often has been overshadowed by his siblings so he deserves his moment.
come on man. I've read this forum for a long time, I've seen your posts. Plus there's a search function.. Golovkin in 2016.. jeez!
So seven years ago? Ok mate. Searching post history on a Saturday night is a bit of an odd one, but have a good night.
Do some more and you’ll see I called Usyk to beat Joshua when he was still a CW and also Fury to beat Wilder when most of this forum wrote him off after the Seferi fight. It’s professional sport, you make right calls and bad calls. Matters not a jot unless you’ve made some dough from the bookies which you probably haven’t.
Well.... my official prediction in Kirk's Championships in the General as well as a poll in the General was Smith KO. So yes, yes I did. I did think the weight cut, and Liam not being drained would play a role though.
Yep, good call. Said in a couple of the other threads that it looks like Eubank’s weight jumping has probably contributed to the deterioration of his punch resistance. He should never have dropped back to 160. Think Eubank got to his feet too quickly but the writing was on the wall. That was a brutal accumulation of punches and Eubank couldn’t put a dent in Smith.
Good shout. Had it 50/50 myself pre fight but always felt the name of Chris Eubanks was not worn well by Jnr and he would be found out at some stage. His father was a warrior and a hard act to follow.
Yep and he also put up a better fight than Callum against Canelo. P4P I think Beefy is the best of the bunch. Callum had huge size advantages at SMW which Liam has never really had.
