Think that’s a bit hyperbolic since Saunders and Groves when Eubank fought them were probably better than Smith is now. I’d have the old Saunders at 160 beating Smith.

 

He was sent to the quantum realm, tried carrying on fighting after his knees decided to stop working and his face was broken. You’ll never see an easier stoppage.

 

To me a pummelling is someone who was outclassed all fight, not someone who ends it with a quick barrage. Up until the stoppage CEJ was clearly in the ascendancy.

 

A dedicated Saunders had real potential - complete waste of a career

 

Styles and fights though isn't it? Beefy has tremendous fundamentals and carved Eubank open. No disrespect to Saunders or Groves with that statement as both were good fighters.

 

Smith cantered the first two rounds for me. Eubank looked shocked going to his corner at end of found 1 (like he realised he had bitten of more than he could chew.)

 

Dunno if you’re a huge Smith fan but Eubank has done ok against better fighters in BJS and Groves.
