People need to realise Eubanks great engine has never existed. It's a myth. His lack of fundamentals often get overlooked. He is lucky he never met Callum Smith in the WBSS, as he would still be knocked out.

It’s all irrelevant now but I’d love to see the scorecards. I’m guessing CEJ landed more punches and looked busier for me.

I thought the ref got it a out right, waved it off after the 2nd knockdown quick. I think Eubank saved himself from getting stopped after the first KD by standing still at around the 7 count. When the ref told him to walk to him, he started walking towards Smith and you could see his legs were still gone, honestly it could of been stopped there by the ref and I'd of had no complaints.

Ref let it commence right after and Eubank didn't react quick, wasn't ready because he hadn't recovered at all.

    Agree

Beefy a solid fighter who will always be taken apart by the elite but will find out anyone artificially rated.

CEJ has been found out and he is very lucky he lost his pen for the GGG fight as that hair tattoo on his head would have been knocked right off.

Eubank got to his feet way too quickly after the first KD. Again a sign of his bravado and probably a lack of proper schooling. Had he taken more time he might have been able to get his senses back quicker.

I think Froch was the most clued up out of pundits tonight (well maybe Tasha Jonas in that outfit .) Froch thought Smith would win, argued that Smith was winning fight before stoppage (all true.)

The beard transplant might have affected his punch resistance.

Yeah I agree, he did try hold Smith after the first KD but as you said, if he had took his time could of regained his senses and maybe rode it out by holding and spoiling for the next 10-20 seconds.

Well he's beeb taught a lesson anyway, never underestimate an opponent!

I’d love to know what actually caused that huge swelling under CEJs eye. Punches don’t normally cause that type of damage. I’d have to watch again but I can only think that’s an elbow.

Maybe if he listened to Ronnie Davies in his formative years instead of treating guy like sh*t.

He's an excellent pundit I get it, it's the telling people he could beat x, y, z that gets a bit tiring. And the snidey comments. He always seems at odds with the content ex pros like Groves despite achieving more
