His last fight was against Robert Easter though at 135 before fighting Spence. He'd had no previous fights at 147 before fighting Spence.

Yeah but he had plenty of experience at 140 and good dominant wins. You can't say he jumped up 2 weight classes. He was an established 140 and took a money/belt collecting fight at 135.

This is the problem though in your first statement, you claimed Whitaker wasn't a natural Welterweight. Even though he was considered the number 1 man at that weightclass for many years. But yet your trying to legitimize Spence's win over Garcia, who had never even fought at 147 that to me makes no sense at all. Your correct in saying Whitaker was past his prime vs Trinidad, but all I'm saying is be consistent regarding the weight. Garcia was a blown up smaller fighter, who had never fought at 147 before fighting Spence.

Ok.. you win mate. Whitaker was a natural WW and wasn't coming off nearly a 2 year layoff and didn't also lose his next fight after Trinidad.

16 month lay off but yes that's all I was asking for, whether or not what you consider a better win is entirely up to you.

Just one more question incase i missed your post, how do you see Trinidad vs Spence matching up prime for prime ?

Spence just hasnt done much to be expected to beat a Trinidad. Spence couldn't hurt 135lb Mikey Garcia and edged Shawn Porter while clearly beating Danny Garcia. That's pretty much it. I guess Ugas was a decent win too.

Trinidad wouldve busted Spence up though. Spence was hurt briefly against Garcia and Porter and Trinidad was no fringe WW like those two

Again, I'd expect Trinidad to actually possibly kill Garcia in the ring. Imagine Porter trying to rush Tito bahahaha.....

Don't know why Oscar chose to fight like he did in those last rounds but he most certainly was taking Tito to school. Oscar is the better fighter.
