Go back to doing what he was doing before roy jones. They,ve misjudged a lot of things him and his dad. The weight jumping you cant get away with nowadays. 2 losses. One to billy joe. But was a tight fight. Considering billys been fighting for years and hes a very good fighter....it was evidence that what eubank was doing with training was working considering how long he,d been fighting in comparison. The groves defeat groves was a bit too big for him. In this day and age where every pounds accounted for its a big ask. The thing is groves and billy joe are nightmare opponents for eubank as well. Both good at offsetting opponents with their footwork. The secret to beating that version of eubank was offsetting his first shot with footwork which both of them we,re very good at. Too late in the day to make him a boxer....let alone a roy jones junior clone. He,s never had the looseness for it. He does look like hes lost musclemass etc. Eubanks best attributes was his chin. His relentlessness. Fitness. Spitefulness. And he punched pretty hard. Not fundamentally good enough for knockouts at a high level....but he punched pretty hard regardless. You can beat better and good boxers with that. Not seen tonights fight tho tbf. But williams was outboxing him in his last fight after them first four rounds. Still think a strong eubank that had the relentlessness when he wasnt taking a break showboating should have been too much for smith....who tbf is a good cagey fighter. The smart move would be to get back to doing what he was previously doing training wise pre jones junior. Taking a slightly easy opponent soon trying to rebuild quickly. The less smart move would be go for broke in a smith rematch. Its not that bad a move tbf...but needs to go back to what he was doing up till the groves fight.

OP his name is Eubank, not Eubanks 2. “His chin was his asset” - was he ever truly cracked at world level to determine that? 3. “He won’t make it back to world level” - even when losing to Groves in WBSS I didn’t see world level from him 4. A massively underwhelming career. Fought a few guys of note but never won a proper title. Weird approach to your career.
