I hope Smith never gets to fight in England again. His fan base are wankers of the highest order.

Eubank now claiming he got 'hit with a once in a lifetime shot'.

If that is how he views last night, he is totally finished physically and mentally.

Looks certain he is back on the PPV loot train

To everyone who is saying what Benn would have done to Eubank in there though, let's not get carried away. Benn is several levels below Eubank and Smith not to mention a lot smaller. A drained CEJ would still have been too much for a roided up Benn if you ask me.

The concern was never based on Benn's talent (or lack of). Eubank would've had to have cut a further two pounds to what he was for this fight and then have been no more than 162lb the morning of the fight. He would've been a walking zombie against a fully hydrated, perfectly conditioned juiced up cheat. I was wary of this fight before I even knew Benn was on the Bane diet.
Snr was right, the whole thing was really irresponsible.

In no way do I think a roided up Benn is anywhere near as good as Smith, but the thought of Eubank Jr trying to fight at 157 ibs is beyond scary, he would be a serious health risk against anyone at British level at that weight.

Fair points. I still think they'll fight this year despite the controversy

Agree. The chances of that fight happening as originally planned, are remote after last night. You could see it making sense at 160+ and without the rehydration clause, but Benn won't want the 'look' of bulking up even more than he had to before.

Would absolutely love Smith to fight Benn and just completely blitz him. I think that would be as close to a 99% to 1% split in terms of British fans wanting a winner.

I don't mind Smith but his fans... I was neutral prior to the actual fight but then the scousers brought their scouseness to the arena...

Tbf generally speaking with any British fans there’s an element of the support in the arena that is detestable.

Callum destroys Eubank at Super Middle. There was talk of the fight at other times not just in the Wbss. He wanted none of it and you can see why. I’ve always said Liam is the best Smith pound for pound and anyone with decent fundamentals who isn’t shot or tiny will beat Eubank. Callum certainly has that.
