He looked a sloppy mess in the sparring clips from the youtube build up shows. God knows what they've been doing on Roy's farm.

He could possibly come back if he joined a proper team and reset some of the bad habits he learned from RJJ.

But at his age, it's a long road because he wasn't even a technically sound boxer before the years he spent with Roy.

The Benn fight will happen now IMO.

Eubank has flattered to deceive his entire career. His plans for world domination are always around the corner. This fight was dangerous but after the Benn debacle he needed a good payday so he rolled the dice knowing that even if he loses there is still at least another big cheque out there regardless with Benn. That fight is going to be even more lucrative now. He's got no real interest in legacy and sporting achievements he's just another in a long line of sportsmen that do it for a living.

He'll still be referring to himself as the next generation when he's turning 40. I've always slagged him off throughout his career but I did respect the way he carried himself and his willingness to have a scrap. However, he's moved away from that style of mauling his opponents and throwing 68 uppercuts in a row which made him an entertaining fighter. He fell in love with himself and convinced himself that he could box off the backfoot.

I thought he'd get the job done last night via a points win and I'm shocked at the deterioration of his durability. He needs to walk away now imo cos Smith will chin him again.

I did think he would win last night but to be fair anytime he has faced decent opposition he has been beaten really. He is 100% past his best, which was never amazing, but shot? Too early to say

I thought he would win last night, it was alarming how quickly he folded.

A lot to work on for him.

Will probably make a fair bit from the rematch if at Anfield so can’t see him walking away

Even being the bigger man I think Brook would of beat him of he wouldn't of retired after the Amir khan fight.

Also how much has the inactivity hurt Eubank jnr. Being out the ring for basically one year not good for anyone.

If Eubank’s chin has cracked then one of his biggest assets is gone. He probably still has his agility / fitness as he was throwing plenty of punches in the 3rd but that alone isn’t gonna get him far against a proper boxer like smith.

Seriously underrated Kell Brook, only lost to the very very best. Would’ve had a field day with Eubank.

Could be. That ko was reminiscent of Haye's last outing vs Bellew, another scouser into the bargain

I thought he would win a close decision if i am honest. i was shocked at how it ended and thought it should have been stopped after the first knock down. he was gone and should never have been allowed to continue, that is how fighters get hurt.
