Not everyone hates Floyd. Yet you’ll simply accuse someone of it just on the grounds that they say something that you and the rest of the three stooges disagree with.

    Another BS post without context.

Why even post this guff, when you don’t even rate the Barkley win?

Yeah, he had lots of losses.

Yet he fought over 100 times, and he fought ATG fighters whilst they were prime.

Let’s polish Floyd’s shiny zero, without allowing for the fact that Duran fought a PRIME Hearns. A guy who was the GOAT at JMW.

A PRIME Hagler, who is a top 3 MW of all time.

A PRIME Leonard, who is a top 3 WW of all time.

A PRIME Barkley, who was 6’1 with an 8” reach advantage, who ended his career at CW and HW.

Floyd wouldn’t have taken ANY of those fights.

No, he’s not top 50 with ease.

I’ve seen plenty of lists that don’t have guys like Toney and McCallum in the top 50.

Go and educate yourself on the sport’s history.

He hasn’t done anything to be ranked that highly.

    Comedy Gold.

A Mayweather fan saying that a fighter should have stopped playing it safe.

Ray should have fought a prime Michael Nunn??

    Ha!

Whilst Floyd fought Andre Berto and an MMA fighter??

    GTFO!

    How is Canelo top 50?

He couldn’t win a round off of Floyd and he barely beat Lara and Trout.

His best wins are against an aged GGG after a gift win, Jacobs, a faded Kovalev and guys like BJS and Smith.

    He’s nowhere near a top 50 fighter.

But we can’t just work off of numbers, can we?

    Stats without context are meaningless.

Apart from take on the same calibre of opponents and register the same top level wins.

    I’ve enjoyed reading your posts.

We can be objective and say that Floyd didn’t have the opportunities to fight the ATGs that Raymond did. Yet at the same time, we know through his actions throughout his career, that if he had’ve done, he wouldn’t have taken them on. And especially in the ‘Money’ part of his career where he was a cautious businessman.

He had his Hearns and Duran, in Manny. But he put up every road block he could find in order to prevent the fight from happening when everyone wanted it.

    Good post.

It was a 3 year lay off, not a 5 year lay off.

The same poster who argued Sugar should be penalized for his loss against Macho even though he was 40 is also arguing he gets no credit for beating Marvelous when Marvelous was 32.

    And once again:

Floyd didn’t, and wouldn’t, fight the level of guys that Ray did.

Floyd was more consistent, more dominant and had better longevity. And he deserves huge credit for that. But at the same time, he simply never took on the challenges that Ray did.

So it’s easy to say that he was more dominant when he fought lesser fighters.

You, White Bomber and No Neck, all need to go back to school and learn about the word: CONTEXT.

    “NURSE!!!”

    Ha!

    WTF?

Has someone slipped some LSD into your coffee??

You are making the mistake of elevating a win over a LESSER opponent, whilst condemning a hard fought win over a BETTER opponent.

Yeah, I’m sure that beating a pre-prime Canelo who could barely beat Lara and Trout, would be the same as Leonard having easily beaten Toney at SMW.

    Ha!

Yeah, totally comparable. (that’s sarcasm, just in case you missed it)

    I despair.

Your posts are utterly mind boggling.

    Connor McGregor!

He was unbeaten in boxing at the time.

Okay, he’d never had an actual fight before, but he was still unbeaten.

    A very impressive statistic.
