why are you interested in posting this question?

Does the thought of Leonard being in Floyd's shadow, disturb you?

    It's only sports

The funny part about this match is that people always found reasons to pick Hearns but he often ended up sprawled on the canvas or even failing to win on the cards. On the hand, picks rained in against Mayweather from every fight from Corrales to McGregor, and everything in between, be it Hatton, Marquez, or Gatti. But he never actually lost.

Hearns with in 4rds',,,,,,, If that long. Hearns at welterweight
would be all wrong for Mayweather Jr. May didn't have
the reach, height, and especially the firepower to be
a serious threat to Hearns. Hearns matches him
    in speed and pure skills.
The only skill Mayweather had that was better than
Hearns is defense...... But that's only because he
fought from a defensive posture, and waited for
    countering opportunities.
Mayweather Jr. would stand a much better chance
against Robinson, Leonard and other great welterweights
than against Hearns. It's simply a terrible match up for him.

Providing you could actually get Floyd in the ring with him, it would be a one-sided bludgeoning. Hearns would pick him apart.

According to this poll Floyd is a 20-1 dog. In real life I can't see him being worse than 4-1 and a live dog.

20-1 dog sounds about right .
May Jr. wouldn't get with in
a mile of a boxing ring
    against Hearns anyway
if they both were in their
    primes , it's a moot point.

Maybe everyone that voted for Hearns (I just did) see Floyd as a 4-1 underdog. :)

I actually see Floyd as longer than 4-1 and a dead dog. Kidding - about the dead dog bit.

But I do see Tommy as a justifiably, very strong favourite.

    This is true.

I was looking for the radio button with the option “Floyd doesn’t take fight” but, for some reason, it wasn’t available. Ah well.

How does Tommy win if Floyd completely takes his jab away?
