I'm surprised he got baited in to a rematch in the first place. Should've moved on. Caterall is dangerous and he doesn't really have a huge amount to gain from beating him. Controversies are forgotten quickly in boxing as there's a new one every week.
Look at Taylors career, the reason it was going so well is because he fought regularly and always wanted to fight the best, upping the quality of opponents rapidly, culminating in him becoming the king of the division in double quick timing and winning a brilliant WBSS in the process. What a shame it's become this mess, he was in terrible, terrible condition months before the first Catterall fight, the signs were there that he was kicking back too much, it's the inactivity that ruins you.
Still nothing officially announced by the promoter regarding this. Everyone just taking that reporter Coppinger's word for it. Not saying he's wrong here, but the **** has been mistaken plenty in the past in the "rush to be first."
Gutted. I really enjoyed the performance Catterall put on that night. I’d totally gone to sleep on him due to the boring match making against overmatched people. I really liked Taylor as a fighter so thought he’d beat Jack quite handily. After the first couple of rounds I was loving his boxing so I ended up wanting Jack to win and I’m not fickle. People seem to have forgotten how bad that result was and I’ve read many comments down playing it and saying it doesn’t matter it was quite close anyway. All I’ll say is I’ve never seen almost every pundit and fan react like that to a decision. Hopefully it can happen eventually.
There seems to be a lot of chat on insta that there’s more to it than meets the eye. Wonder what’s going on?
"Quack Quack" Let's not make that a thing in here. It's just about acceptable in the general but not here. Well that's a first
Teo Lopez’s dad said they are fighting Josh Taylor in July. Looks like he’s put Jack in the box for now to make some serious cash.
