What's the obsession on this forum with DAZN being an "app"? In a short time from now, virtually everything you watch will be delivered by an app. A lot of it is done that way even now; if you watch on-demand content on YouView boxes, you're using apps under the hood (one of which could easily be DAZN if they were bothered). It's TV, like it or lump it and DAZN is ahead of the game whatever you think of the boxing content.
Christ man, Smith beat a distinctly average Vargas who hadn't fought in 2 years and was moving up to LMW. People on here are now painting him as SRL. In there primes Brook would of beat him comfortably, Smith loses too many rounds against opponents. The ones who are smart and know what he's doing just comfortably outbox him. Even when he won his world title, the guy he fought was ranked something like 50th in the world and was like 5-0 up until Smith stopped him.
This isn't in regard to who wins in there primes though is it ? It's who wins now And in that case, I don't think you can look past a Liam Smith stoppage.
He’d have smashed him when it was rumoured a couple of years ago. He was ruined by Golovkin. I was in Bramhall Lane when he lost to Spence and thought he looked decent in the first half of that fight but that’s it. I have never watched that back so I may even be wrong about that.
That’s the bottom line really. He was a very good fight Kel but Golovkin and then not moving up (instead losing to Spence) finished him.
Because things are very weird here just now, I will say that none of these three are anything to do with me and that Furey will be back soon.
5 years ago at 154lbs i wouldnt even say it was a contest Brook wins. Not if they fight its over in 3 rounds for Smith.
