Wilder's technique in general is not great. He does do some things well and together with his punching power it's worked out for him. Ngannou looks like a bodybuilder that decided to take up fighting. His striking technique is woeful. He makes Wilder look like FMJ.
A good percentage of Wilder`s former opponents could beat Francis but Ngannou would destroy Wilder with ease in the octagon as would Gane.
