I reckon they should stick to an indoor arena I think the atmosphere is better somewhere like Qudos Bank Arena because it will sell out. I am not really a fan of stadium fights.

He is apparently the prime suspect in the theft of Sam Soliman's world title belt.

I'd favour Justis Huni & Jai Opetaia to upset Big Joe with speed & skill at this point.

I'd make Joe favourite against the others although if they were to fight in Australia, I reckon Big Daddy might give him the Junior Fa treatment. Boom!

    Haha love it!

Big Joe fights anywhere, anytime so if anything, going to Aussie is virtually walking distance for him as he's fought all over the world. Opetaia and Huni may have their moments, but JP will eventually overwhelm them both and crunch them both when they even dare to trade with him in the pocket.

He's had a decent enough career has Big Daddy, but Parker eats him for breakfast and ends the fight whenever he wants.

I agree Parker would be able to feast on most Aussies then wash it down with a bottle of L&P.

Jai and Justis beating him is a bit of leap of faith but I think Joe's days at the tippy top are behind him.

Justis Huni a free agent now by the looks of it.

Weighing up offers from a few promotional outfits.

PBC, DAZN, No Limit and Duco being mentioned.

What does everything think of this? Whats the young lads best option in your opinion?

Is he better off being a bigger fish in a small pond with a local promoter or being part of a bigger international stable?

Yeah they are, but at the same time there are plenty of fights for him out there. Think he could still take out some of these prospects.

Should stay with a local outfit for now. They'll put more time and effort into him and will bring him along at the rate he should be getting bought along at.

Finally we find out what's been going on. He needs a good local promoter with good international links. That either means Dean Lonergan & Top Rank or No Limit & PBC. Foxtel / Main Event may have been attempting to push him towards No Limit with their exclusive content deal but I'm not sure that will be the determining factor in who he signs with. Lonergan's biggest problem in re-signing him would appear to be the lack of guaranteed local TV (i.e. Foxtel / Main Event). With other options out there, that could be worked through but isn't ideal. Fast Eddie Hearn has a local platform with DAZN. His biggest drawbacks are probably that he's too internationally focused & is a snake-oil salesman. I guess they all are to some extent but I'd be going with someone with stronger links to the local scene. For his next contract anyway. His other option is to take fights one by one with different promoters as they are presented. That may adversely affect the ability of the promoter to secure fights on his behalf so perhaps isn't the best approach.

Justis Huni is scheduled to return Friday 17 March against none other than Big Daddy Browne. Not an opponent I would have put him in with. I think there's a big difference between teeing off on Big Daddy in sparring & facing him for real in a fight where his intention is to take you out. We'll see how that goes.

Huni probably beats Parker right now. Opetaia would probably beat him on points. Parker flattens Browne inside 3. Mckean probably loses a close points or late stoppage to Parker. Opelu, Ahio, Tervieski, Goodall all lose easily to Parker, Goodall the hardest of the four.

I think signing with No Limit is his best option that will guarantee all his fights televised on Aussie TV and to be in the main event where international promoters will bury him on an under card.

One right hand from Big Daddy is enough to shatter a whole house of Queensland glass it's a good fight for Huni but he needs to be on his P's and Q's especially early as Browne is still dangerous and I don't think Huni has the power to deter Browne. If Huni can protect his Queensland glass he will likely win a UD or late stoppage from accumulation. I will be cheering for my man Big Daddy to pull off the upset.
