Firstly, Opetaia is an undefeated champion. His ability remains to be seen. Secondly, Briedis was 37 and it was a very competitive fight held in Opetaia's home country. I could see Briedis picking up a strap for a fourth time.

The guy that Usyk struggled with, KO'd Glowacki in 2, that's 2 rounds quicker than Riakporhe and 3 rounds quicker than Okolie, when it actually mattered. He also brutally KO'd Charr in 5, something it took possibly PED enhanced Povetkin 10 to do. He KO'd Artur Mann a round quicker than Lerena who just dropped Dubois thrice. He also beat Dorticos handily, and stopped Durodola when it mattered.

Here's what Briedis found out.... he's getting old and Opetaia was clearly better than most of us realized. Yet even after losing the first 6 rounds in on sided fashion, Briedis came roaring back and literally broke Opetaia's face. The last round was so frightful, I started fearing for Jai's life. So try thinking and then actually watching the match before you hit post, and spare everyone your feeble minded idiocy next time.

All this ambiguity, why don't you speak your mind for once?

Everyone's a nobody at some point. Jai's gonna be a force, though.

I saw this “nobody” spar hard with Andy Ruiz when he was a teenager, this “nobody” knows how to fight.

I actually had the fight 6-6 with Opetaia winning first 6 rounds, and then Breidis winning the next 6. Either way bit of a strange thread you'd think he'd lost to a journeyman, Opetaia is undefeated for crying out loud. And could actually turn out to be a force in Cruiserweight division, I was very impressed with his skills even if he did fade late on.

    Opetaia, a nobody? Lol.

In any case, how shocking that styles make fights. What a discovery!

Frazier beat Ali. Norton arguably beat Ali all three times. Then came along Foreman and wiped out both Frazier and Norton in two rounds. Then Foreman was KOd by Ali. Then throw Jimmy Young into the mix who lost to both Ali and Norton but beat Foreman.

Why is it so hard still for so many to understand that triangle theories don’t work, never did and never will?

Sure. That’s why Fury is the one with the artificial 0 loss record, having lost twice already if not for good old boxing corruption. Both McDermott and Wallin beat him. Usyk faced much better opposition and still never even been knocked down once let alone beaten as a professional.

There’s a reason why the amateur circuit is much more transparent. You can’t just pick and choose your opponents or duck fighters Fury style there. Fury lost 5 times out of a measly 25 amateur bouts. That’s a pretty bad 20% loss rate. Even more hilariously, he lost the 2007 European title to a 6’0 Russian chap. Middleweight this, midget that, lol.

On the other hand, Usyk had 350 amateur bouts and lost only 15 of them. That’s a winning percentage of over 95%, mate, maintained for hundreds of fights.

It’s not even funny how much higher Usyk stands as a talent and as a complete fighter than Fury. Before Fury, there was never another fighter who was so overhyped with such a paper thin resume. He knows all this too. Fury is many things, but stupid is not one of them. He knows Usyk will beat him. He knows Usyk will end his artificial 0 loss record. He knows Usyk will end his career and the whole “no man born from his mother can beat me” bollocks, damaging his brand too.

That’s why he goes after that lame WWE worthy gimmick with Ngannou.

You sound like a typical Lomachenko fanboy but he still lost to Lopez and uber driver Salido...and Usyk will lose to a fat oaf named Fury who can't box and has a belly.

I don't care about amatuer records - Although it's more applicable because Usyk has lots of amatuer traits that Fury will exploit so badly his head will SWIVEL. He'll be CRYING to the ref for help. BEGGING.
