That would be easy work right there, Inoue's speed and power would be too much for Loma, we saw Salido and Fimo give him that work already. It'll be lights out for Hi-Tek if he step in with The Monster.
I actually agree that Inoue would beat Loma at 126 right now, Loma would be drained to the bones at 126 and have no resistance. I hate it when people act like Loma is a 126 pounder fighting at 135, he's a 130 pounder. But prime Loma at 126 stomps Inoue at 126.
Inoue vs Rigondeux would have been a more interesting thread. I think I may still have picked Rigondeux though. I'll have to think on it for a while.
What are your fight assumptions for this prediction? Inoue's speed and power carries up to 126 or Inoue comes in like a bloated toad?
Probably his speed and power will carry up. Tbh I think Inoue will hit harder and will be faster at 122 because he doesn't have to worry about the cut. Not as sure about 126 but I don't see him being bloated.
Yeah, but we're talking about if Inoue's able to compete at 126 and the power and speed has carried up, he's not getting stomped by Lomachenko. Inoue's got elite boxing skills to go with obscene power.
I don't think Inoue at 126 hits harder than Walters at 126. Too big of a size difference to close that gap. Inoue could probably beat some weaker 126 champs though.
Inoue will not carry devastating power to 126 pounds. He won't land flush on Loma very often and the partially blocked blows won't deter Loma from walking forward.
I will say this though, if Loma feels Inoue's power and Inoue can consistently land, he might ***** out like he did against Teo. I just don't think Inoue carries that power at 126. Loma doesn't have the same balls as Usyk and isn't willing to risk getting knocked out for a win.
Well, that's the premise of power being carried up. The fight assumption we go would go with is that Inoue will be every bit as devastating at 126 as he was at 118. Otherwise of course Inoue gets stomped on (if his punches feel like mosquito bites at 126).
No way his power carries to 126. Inoue is not going to be shattering shoulders and punching through elite Featherweight guards. Not happening.
