I think Beterbiev will stop him within 4 rounds. I just pray if required Tunde's ego does not stop/or delay him throwing in the towel. Yarde has a slim chance (as he has a punchers chance and Beterbiev ageing really badly overnight.) Otherwise there is levels between the two men.

It would be if Beterbiev wasn't 38. Still think he will win mind.

Smith ran at Beterbiev with no defences- it's a ridiculous comparison in reality as Yarde will not approach it anything like that.

A master boxer with a grade A chin will eventually defeat Beterbiev. But an unconventional gunslinger who leaves his hands down low? Yarde is made to measure for Beterbiev to look good against and get an early stoppage in under 6.

Yarde should approach it like Callum Johnson, just getting inside and trying to land. Obviously he needs to then display the same level of resilience that CJ did in terms of his punch resistance but that’s Yarde’s best shot. CJ put Beterbiev down quite hard and hurt him throughout the fight and while I think CJ hits harder than Yarde, Beterbiev’s age is obviously a factor here.

Agreed. He does need to prevent Beterbiev from walking him down though as that's when he can throw his full arsenal of punches. He must get him going backwards and look to land hard to his body and upstairs in-between punches. It's a major task, but it can be done.

so how will he approach it? get backed up against the ropes, shell up and take a moral victory by going rounds?

can’t believe the Callum Johnson knockdown from years ago is still being brought up, despite the fact that Beterbiev was fine at the end of the round and knocked him out soon after

Yarde has nice timing and good power. Low stamina, gaps in his defence and limited mobility.

AB is a bigger puncher, better chin, better stamina and more experience against top class fighters. Cloud,Bronwne, Smith etc

Yarde has lost to the best fighter he's faced by KO and then lost to a solid fighter in Arthur ion a dire performance ( yes he avenged it but he should be loosing in that manner as a top class fighter)

    Yarde needs a miracle here.

Hands up In a similar style to Tbe rematch with Arthur. He was blocking, parrying punches, moving his head and closing down the distance with his feet.

He has very similar physical dimensions to Artur, so he won't start the fight having to overcome height and reach disadvantages.

Joe Smith was charging forward, windmilling punches like a drunk having a scrap outside the pub.

Bererbiev is not the terminator. If Yarde lands well he will hurt him. He has been down twice (yes he recovered well) and been hurt in other fights.

Having said all of that, Yarde has a hell of a serious task ahead of him, but any man can be beat and Yarde is bringing firepower to the party.

Berb is obviously the favourite but we could be in for a shock.

I think Yarde has a real chance here. Yes he's fought bums and yes he's taking a big leap in class but stylewise I can see him actually having success taking the fight to Beterbiev with a high guard. Can't afford to have a leaky defence here. I think the fight is going to be over within 4 rounds either way.

Yarde isn't winning this one, he's most surely getting stopped, but at least he'll put up a better performance than Joe Smith, that's for sure.
