Getting tagged by his right hand and put on his back foot. The fight will be in the UK so Usyk really needs to win every round and don't let Fury breathe really. He needs to stay busy.

So you boast about being around boxing for a long time, yet you claim Usyk struggled against Joshua. And you can't see the irony in that.

Fat boy? :D Mate, I don't know you, you don't know me so to me, you are just a nickname of an online forum. What was the idea, am I supposed to be upset because someone who is literally just a bunch of letters on my laptop screen wrote "fat boy"? :D It sounds as if you were still 13.

Agreed. The thing is there are a lot of fan boys here, especially Fury's. People seem to forget or are completely oblivious to the fact that boxing is a sport. Its has guidelines and rules. True skilled boxers are brilliant at what they do and will 9 out of 10 times pull apart a slugger or aggressive fighter with limited skills or no ring IQ.

Usyk is known for fighting everyone in their own backyard. What makes you think Fury can un-pick the Ukrainian lock, I'm not saying he can't but it is a very complicated one!!!

AJ was completely schooled and frustrated. In the first fight almost knocked out from punch accumulation. I don't think he would have gone another round.

Then that is nothing to do with the quality of the fighter but how good a referee we get. Back to what I said, its a sport with rules.

Then I especially don't know how you can say Usyk struggled. Joshua was always going to tag Usyk once in a while. And Usyk is very comfortable being and fighting on the back foot. I think many people get confused and think Usyk has a hard time just because he gets marked up easily, for example. But that's just genetics, you can't do anything about it. Getting marked up and struggling against someone are two very different things. He is just the type of guy who gets a black eye pretty much instantly but that doesn't mean he is hurt or struggling.

Team Usyk had three different game plans to defeat Joshua. They prepared for every scenario. Even when Joshua unleashed that attack in round 9 of the rematch was planned and Usyk deliberately let him come at him. He was heard discussing it with his team before round 10 that "okay, so it happened as we predicted, now turn the heat up and go for him" - and that's when he started to throw 80-100 punches per round, after throwing less than 50 in round 9. Heck, they even predicted that Joshua would launch this attack "around the 8th". Usyk ate a huge right hand in the tenth round, one that usually puts people to sleep, yet he didn't even slow down or got hurt, got to the canvas etc. I remember watching the fight and it was scary how prepared and methodical Usyk looked. Even when watching the fight for the first time live, it already felt that they absolutely planned out everything down to a T and he could go on for another 12 rounds. Not many people know that he spars 15 rounds in training, with only 30 seconds of rest time between the rounds and against 4 or 5 different guys for each sparring session so the opponent is always fresher than him. It's insane what he does to prepare for the fights. That will be the downfall of Fury too.

On TV for boxing aged 13, impressive. I guess you had to prove you were vaccinated first?

It would have absolutely been reasonable, but actually, the whole thing was even simpler than that.

It was rumoured at the time (January 2022) and Krassyuk also confirmed later that Team Usyk and Team Fury agreed to a timeline and signed a pre-contract about it as well. The timeline was: Usyk-Joshua rematch, then 5 months off, then the undisputed against Fury. Everybody was happy, everybody was on board with this schedule.

The Usyk-Joshua rematch was planned for July originally. According to the schedule, this would have meant a December date for the undisputed. But as soon as the Usyk-Joshua rematch was delayed until late August, the whole schedule shifted. Actually, it automatically meant that the undisputed bout would be in February because January is the worst month to have any type of big event like that. People are skint after the holidays, PPV sales and attendance numbers are always very low in that month. If you want to make any money, January is the worst month for that. All promoters and event managers know that. So basically, as soon as the Usyk-Joshua fight was not happening in July, it automatically meant, regardless of any circumstances, that the fight simply won't happen before February.

This is what most casuals and Fury fans (actually, these two names almost entirely refer to the same fan group) fail to realise. They simply can't understand that when Usyk talked about his injury in early September, it was in the context of "this is one of the things I'm going to deal with during the pre-agreed several months of break" and not "yeah, that's why a December fight can't happen". The December fight was automatically off the table as soon as it turned out that the Usyk-Joshua rematch would be held in late August instead of July. So even without the war or Usyk's injury, there wouldn't have been an undisputed bout in December. But Fury kept playing on the ignorance of the casuals and most of them still parrot about how Fury had to have a stay-busy bout against Chisora because "Usyk wasn't ready".

lmfao, no way Usyk is rattled by Fury. That statement is insane.
