Listening to other posters I respect. I'd have to rate him highly,but I really don't know enough about him to give him a definitive ranking.
Fair play to you, it takes humility and intelligence to say that. For whatever it's worth, in fights I suspect were contested at 139lbs or under, I have him as going 90-0-7. That includes 1-0-2 vs top 10 LW, Freddie Welsh, where he's considered to be on the better end of both draws, at least 1 of which reads as a robbery. He also has wins at this weight over the great Jack Britton, Lockport Jimmy Duffy, Leach Cross x 2, Owen Moran, Benny Yanger and Matt Wells. He's my #4 at LW, but the more I think about it, he has a case to be over Duran, based on fights solely contested in and around LW.
