    Completely forgot about Ritson.
    Matchroom were quite keen to get behind North East fighters and make it another area to host big cards, but Josh Kelly, Lewis Ritson and Joe Laws never quite lived up to the hype.

    aye, said in an interview that after the lay off he would be moving up. only stayed at bantam to get world title shot and his body can't do it anymore

    At around 5 mins he speaks about bantamweight and moving up. really rate him but hope he ditches ben davison as coach just like josh has as i feel he could be better with someone else in that position.

    I warmed to him a lot after his post fight interview VS Tyrone McKenna when he spoke about the Taylor fight - he was most definitely brutally honest about it and deserves respect for that.
    Bit of a tangent but I guess he, Jazza and Bolotniks are still waiting for their golden contracts to be finalised haha

    He hasn’t beaten anyone of note and has a draw with Essomba. I don’t know much about his opponent though so I can’t make a valid prediction for the fight. I think his opponent might win - he is coming off a win in America on an away show.
