Umm. He’s not “40”. He was 37 literally last week.

Beterbiev is thirty eight, not forty. If your point is so weak you feel the need to change facts to support it, is it really worth bringing up?

Now if you go by the vegas odds, peoples opinions and boxing media thoughts... it would, in fact, be shocking if he won. Your cliches about time aside.

However none of that was the question at hand. How long would Yarde be champ?

I think almost everybody is secretly waiting for an upset, but not telling it. That's what make boxing exciting. If the favorite wins 100% all the time, where's the thrill?

Just like Ruiz Jr knocked out AJ and nuked the heavyweight division. Nothing was the same after that.

It depends on when he fights Bivol. Zurdo would probably beat him too tbh.

Has it reflected in his performance at all? Until it does there’s really no reason to mention it. 37-38 today is not 37-38 20 yrs ago.

"Mike Tyson, Sonny Liston, Jack Dempsey, you don't throw combinations like Rocky Marciano, because I'm not f*****g 14 stone that's why! I'm 18 stone, I'm heavy, it's hard work."

You know what I actually like Yarde. The man is making smart moves promoting his way to big fights.

Based off that performance vs Bivol Yarde beats Zurdo.

I dont understand this infatuation with aging Beterbiev. The guy has not shown any signs of slowing down in the ring. He still looks like the same Beterbiev we were introduced to a decade ago. He is one of those guys that seems to train year round so he doesnt get out of shape. Guys like that have longetivity.

Perhaps he now realises Dubois is far from a sure thing.

Looking forward to this , it should be a good fight based on styles. Arthur is the clear favourite but Yarde has the speed to make it interesting
