    If Canelo takes a Bivol fight at 168 then either Buatsi has a long wait ahead or gets a spintered belt depending what Bivol does. He should just get out and fight.

    Round 2: Itauma 10-9

    19-19

    Itauma was struggling and then landed a great counter shot which stunned Maderna. I thought this was a knockdown but the referee didn’t call it. I think Itauma should get the stoppage in the next 2-3 rounds.

    Are we still on track for a 1am start for Yarde v Beterbiev? Frank did say he was going to try and make the main events start earlier.

    Buatsi has only one fight left on his contract with Matchroom and then he will move on to another promoter.

    Buatsi doesn´t sell any tickets and he doesn´t bring new customers into the DAZN store.

    29-28 Itauma

    Itauma needs a lot of work from the looks of things. He is only 22 though so there is plenty of time for improvement. He had a lot of success to the body when up in close in this round.

    Buatsi is some boring ass wannabe philosopher. I like a bit of humility but he doesn't half love the sound of how own voice and ramble on in interviews when he does actually fight, which is pretty much never.

    I totally agree.

    It is a shame that his boxing talent has not been developed at all. Buatsi looked very promising back in 2016.
