Artur Asilbekovich Beterbiev vs. Anthony Yarde & Artem Dalakian vs. David Jiménez RBR.

Ever hear of Joe Smith JR.? Bivol can take a punch.

 

There are only two elite guys at 175 and those are Bivol and Beterbiev. Kovalev was an elite fighter back in the days but is a drug addict these days and probably shot to pieces. Yarde could probably beat him in 2023 but he lost to him so it'd be unfair to rate Yarde above Kovalev.

I think Callum Smith is a pretty decent contender at 175 as well. I'd favor him big time over Yarde. Yarde has a lot of 50/50 matchups at 175 but i don't think he's elite. Him against Smith/Zurdo/Buatsi/Browne are basically 50/50 fights.

 

To be fair to the devil himself, Top Rank has put some quality fights on basic cable and their streaming service that is one of the best deals in streaming even without boxing.

 

Callum Smith has godly power in his fists at 175. His left hook is terrifying.

 

Damn good fight and Yarde performed better than we thought he would but Beterbiev got the job done. This is already a contender for fight of the year.

I think it’s safe to say that Bivol may very well have a good shot at beating Beterbiev.

Kovalev, who was basically a part-time boxer-alcoholic managed to KO Yarde with a jab, yet this supposed beast barely managed to stop him and was rocked almost every round....

Kovalev>>>>Beterbiev, not even close. And don't say, oh Beterbiev won in the amatuers, Kovalev was robbed twice.

 

Beterbiev is wonderfully humble. What a refreshingly nice man.

 

I always tell people that Beterbiev has lost rounds to a lot of not world-class boxers, it makes sense that a decent boxer who can really punch could do a lot of damage to him. His boxing abilities have been overrated recently despite losing a few rounds basically every time he's fought recently, despite mostly fighting guys known for their infighting abilities.

 

In all fairness he is 38 which is ancient for a come forward pressure fighter.

 

He was stung by a few but he wasn't hurt like he was against Johnson.

 

That's fair, be interesting to see Callum vs Yarde.

 

Beterbiev unilaterally deciding Yarde is 28. Not gonna argue with him.

 

He was 30 years old fighting Enrico. The man is 38 ****ing years old. It's called science dude.

 

I don't think he carries either, he adapts based on the opponent in front of him. Deines would have been taken out early if he approached Beterbiev like Johnson, Smith and Yarde did.
