I think Beterbiev can fight at an elite level into his early 40s. Lives clean, trains hard and his style is well suited for it.

Hes preserved, but not even Hopkins was elite in his 40s. He kept losing to guys he would wash in his early 30s.

I agree only time will tell, but I'm not banking on Beterbiev being the 1st man in boxing history to beat father time.

Anthony did better than Joe Smith Jr which a lot of you said he wouldn't .

I'm not surprised by the results. I just made the point that this fight would be competetive and it was. Yarde manage to cut and hit Beterbiev with some nasty shots. I think a lot of ppl here thought it would end under 4 rnds. Yarde was ko or bust.

I think Bivol can do what Gvosdyk did but unlike gvosdyk he can be consistent. a fight even going 12 for beterbiev even if beerbiev was clearly winning a round he might not get it because he's expected to get knockouts. rounds he doesnt win by a landslide often go the other way. I think Bivol can go 12 and that's going to be enough for a win even if questionable

Yarde has some good legs. Really surprised me there. He can throw effective punches from tight spots. Where does he go next, I wonder.

the only thing that was impressive was the heart yarde showed he was cornered and hit a lot but he didn't wilt like most. I dont think a lot else impressed me

If he got clocked by the shot Callum Johnson hit him with today, would he get up? Every year he’s going to lose more durability. I think he retires in the next 2-3 years.

    Smith floored who? Beterbiev?

We've had six fights since the Callum Johnson fight, in 2018, since Beterbiev was knocked down. He's fought some big punchers in that time and never touched the deck.

    Good, solid chin.

Everyone has their limits but that's why I said early 40s. Based on hows he looked and the quality of opposition around him.. I don't think that's too far of a reach.

Hmm.. I wouldn't mind seeing that (Canelo might, though).
