Using a quote from Roberto Duran to gage Hagler's heart was a huge mistake on your part. Too bad you didnt remove it when you still had the chance. You blew it

    So?

The record says Billy Fox stopped Lamotta

    Do you buy that too?

Sir, no need to impugn my integrity. We're all friends here. Was I not kind enough to explain to you the difference between the meaning of objective and subjective? Sir, in real life do you react with enmity to those who are kind to you?

if you wish to be objective, why do you give more weight to a judge who relies on his judgement, favoring one fighter in contrast to another judge who scores it another way

and then, you discount a freeze frame that tracks scoring blows hat you know is reliable because the video cann9t be biased. It only reflects what actually happend where everyone can see for themselves

you cannot be unbiased as you say

it's a famous fight that was shown in Raging Bull.

Lamotta threw the fight and was officially recorded as a 4 rd tko for Fox

Since that result is the official call, would you deem it as legit and we should all just a accept it?

Mark, all I know is that Leonard won on the scorecard, won on the punch stats, and convinced at least half the experts at ringside that he won. Obviously it was a controversial decision but it was by no means a robbery.

Now I remember. That's a lot different than a clean fight that went to the scorecards.

    you're not answering the question

Since you are so fond of telling others "Hagler lost to Leonard", in light of what you now know, do you still say that Hagler lost to Leonard when the evidence shows otherwise and cannot be disputed?

so you would say accept that the decision stay as it is?

if a fighter is victim of a bad call, should the rest of us just accept that because it was the official decision of the judges?

Any decion that goes to the judges can be disputed. That's fundamentally different than a proven fixed fight. In the current instance Leonard won on the cards, won on the punch stats and convinced approximately half the boxing insiders at ringside like legendary trainer Gil Clancy and legendary manager Jim Jacobs he won the fight. I'll supply a citation, i.e. link if you want.

If you think this or that decision is wrong you have every right to complain about it but it doesn't change it.

Especially with judges who score shoe shining and bolos over effective aggression and clean punching. Especially if excessive holding isn’t even warned against.

    More BS.

Those combinations were all extremely accurate.

They were all clean, effective scoring shots.

    Go and watch the fight.

    Very clean and accurate punches.

    What would Floyd have done?

He hardly threw combinations at his highest weights.

    Shut up you fool.

If Floyd had that victory, you’d be making threads telling us what a masterclass it was, and how it was one of the greatest wins of all time.

Go and reactivate your Rooster account.

    This one = Zzzzzzzzz
