Beterbiev will beat up Smith, who hasn't beat anyone of note. Bivol should be next. Enough of the politics.

Don't like how Eddie is positioning this as some kind of semi-finals: Beterbiev vs Smith and Bivol vs Canelo, because that's just a flat-out wrong read of the situation lmao, but I suppose it's better than Beterbiev sitting out for another year or battering some bum in Russia or Germany or something

I would also prefer Canelo to stick to 168 (or leapfrog 175 to cherrypick someone at cruiserweight, or fight a Spence/Bud/Jermell-type at a catchweight) instead of poisoning 175 with his money and influence. He is basically the reason middleweight; a historically beautiful division, is an absolute graveyard right now

Anyway, I reckon Callum's got a chance but it's going to be nauseating listening to months of hype... yet again... only for Beterbiev to break him down and stop him...

Until Canelo says no to the rematch you will never see Bivol and Beterbiev

Past prime Beterbiev is getting a bit underrated by quite a few, imo. I don't quite understand it myself but if it takes bashing Smith around the ring to highlight that then I suppose I'm up for this fight.

However, the fact that the Bivol fight is yet again being pushed back is an embarrassment for the sport.

Callum Smith power is overrated, what he is though is a very good body puncher. But couldn’t put a dent in Canelo….for me has no chance even against an old Beterbiev who is much stronger than Canelo.

Beterbiev took some clean shots tonight off a bigger puncher, whilst he did feel some of them was never really wobbled.

The only hope Smith would have is age catching Artur.

Outside of the proverbial punchers chance I don't give Smith much of a shot here, yes he has heavy hands and good timing but he needs space to generate power and Beterbiev will just smother him and land his thumping shots inside to wear Smith down eventually, he might have a few good moments but he will get broken down.

This sport will be hard to take seriously anymore if that, Crawford/Spence and Fury/Usyk don't come off. Which wouldn't surprise me. We'll be lucky if 2/3 happen.

Beterbiev probably a bit too old for Smith. Smith Is huge and devastating at 175.

That's the reason, they have to get him older, this fight itself was something that didn't need to happen as well.
