Canelo is on the decline now and IMO he is a loss leader for any network. His fanbase won't bring in enough revenue on PPV or ticket sales to cover the cost of his salary anymore.

Edit: if he is on DAZN then it's already maxed out via subscriptions anyway. Better to build someone new up personally

 

I'd like to see Sky Sports Box Office promote Beterbiev too. In London or Manchester he has a very good fanbase which would only grow after last night.

Bob Arum is better for boxing from a fans perspective. He makes big fights happen more than other promoter. But he is terrible from a fighters perspective. He protects his fighters less. He puts you with stiffer competition. He pays you less. And when you are on your way out, throws you in the trash and feeds you to a young lion

 

Yeah i noticed that but Bob definitely made sure to make it to the arena & sit in the front row with his wife Fury & his partner by his side.
