Judging from this thread, I'd counter argue that he's severely underrated reading some of the bs in this topic.....

 

It isn't serious when a casual teenage Mexican "boxing" cheerleader calls it. Has anyone who knows anything about the history of boxing put forward the hypothesis that Canelo is GOAT?

 

No he's actually a really good fighter

 

He is a great boxer, but also protected by the officials, hence questionable scorecards.

No, he's a very good, top boxer, despite the corruption around him. And he fights a lot, one can say the number doesn't mean anything if you fight bums, but he faced plenty of top opponents.
