Beterbiev has a big Muslim fanbase. This last promotion was a step in the right direction.

The Saudis want to put the marquee events on and they have built a rapport with DAZN and Top Rank in the last few years.

I can see it happening there rather than in America.

You show one example where the guy is going down and you got the balls to spout this bull****.

I'm the guy to blame for pointing that out. I went back and watched just two rounds of his match with Gvozdyk and I counted in excess of 15 rabbit punches. Then with Joe Smith Jr. he was able to soak up the uppercuts and the hooks to the face, but if you watch the slomo of the knockdowns (below), it was almost always a cuffing rabbit punch that put him down. Then with Yarde yesterday, he badly rocked him with a right, then as Yarde was staggering off to the side, the back of his head presented itself as a target, and Beteriev didn't fail to take advantage. Not saying it's always intentional, sometimes it's his opponent trying to roll with his punches, but it does seem strange most of his KO involve at least a few shots that land on the top of the back of the head, or back of the head itself. Even go and check the Browne, Kalajdzic and Denies matches, it did seem as if he was targeting the backs of their heads consistently. At the very least, he's incredibly careless and irresponsible, and is willing to land anywhere he can land when he smells blood.

I really don't see anything nefarious. Not always easy to hit a moving target on the kisser.

If it happened just once, I wouldn't think anything of it, but go back and check all of the matches I mentioned. You'll see a pattern as well.

    Round 1 Jimenez 10-9, close

Largely a feel out round, damned near a 10-10, neither man landed anything of note. Both missing a lot, but Jimenez may have edged it with his work on the inside, which was minimal, and a left hook.

    Round 1 Jimenez 10-9, close
    Round 2 Dalakian 10-9, close

First half of the round, Jimenez on the front foot, closing the gap, parrying the jab, lands a few short hooks. But a left hook from Dalakian shakes him up, and he goes into retreat for the second half of the round.

Yarde`s been in at the higher level and has proven his punch, chin and heart.

    Round 1 Jimenez 10-9, close
    Round 2 Dalakian 10-9, close
    Round 3 Dalakian 10-9

Artem keeping him at range, and is hard to catch, with the constant lateral movement. Landing looping hooks to the head and body, Jimenez is falling short and missing almost everything. His only success came with body blows he landed while in the clinch.
