Round 1 Jimenez 10-9, close

Largely a feel out round, damned near a 10-10, neither man landed anything of note. Both missing a lot, but Jimenez may have edged it with his work on the inside, which was minimal, and a left hook.

First half of the round, Jimenez on the front foot, closing the gap, parrying the jab, lands a few short hooks. But a left hook from Dalakian shakes him up, and he goes into retreat for the second half of the round.

Artem keeping him at range, and is hard to catch, with the constant lateral movement. Landing looping hooks to the head and body, Jimenez is falling short and missing almost everything. His only success came with body blows he landed while in the clinch.

David setting a frenetic pace, coming forward non stop, with herky jerky upper body movement, landing more jabs to the body, closing the distance, lands several hurtful hooks to the ribs, forcing Dalakian to hold on several occasions. Then doing solid work while in hold. Dalakian clips him with a few hooks late that knock him off balance, but not even close to enough to steal back the round.

Another solid round from Jimenez, bringing relentless pressure, Artem with keep away jabs, but not much landing clean. David landing short explosive hooks o the body, a few glancing off the head of Artem. A lot of holding, Jimenez again, working him in hold.

Artem found his groove again, while David still pouring on the pressure, he's falling short with mch of it, only landing sporadically. Artem landed several one twos down the middle, and a few sweeping hooks.

Artem with a ton of lateral movement early on, he's tossing out that jab, but not landing it very often, mostly being parried or blocked. He gets in a few rights to the body. Jimenez amps up the pressure in the second half, and lands several lopping hooks, one knocks Artem off balance, when in hold, Jimenez working him over, and catching him with hooks as he comes out of hold. A close round, but I thought Jimenez's shots had more on them.
